Open to everyone, we welcome all people from all backgrounds. Irish expats, the diaspora, and local friends who want a bit of Irish. Our diverse network connects you across Seattle’s premier industries and to the richness of Ireland.

Why Join as a Paid Member?

While not required to attend public events, supporting with paid memberships provide reliable resources that pay for inclusive programming and builds a stronger community. All membership fees and contributions are tax deductible. Paid membership perks include:

Free Membership

A free membership provides access to our newsletter and WhatsApp group. Most people start with a free membership/newsletter subscription, attend an event, and join as a paid member when they’re ready to support or get more involved.

Community & Craic

Contribute on a Committee

Want to get involved beyond membership? Our all volunteer organization continuously needs help with tasks that keep things operational. Various ways to help are:

  • Marketing & Communications: Help us get the word out about events, post to social media, update this website, and make sure the community is aware of all the ways to connect.
  • IT & Technical Infrastructure: Technology is great when it works, and can cause friction when it's not doing the job. If you have tech skills or are comfortable with digging into our tech stack to solve or improve systems we'd love to hear from you.
  • Event Coordination: Help by coordinating event venues, sourcing vendor bids, catering, music, photography, and anything else that might be needed for a successful event.
  • Grant Writing: A portion of our funding comes from grant awards. We are always looking for new opportunities and have grants we annually apply for to sustain our operations.

All committee members are supported and report to a board member. If you are interested in joining the board, starting as a committee member is a great pathway to a board position. Please email info@irishnetworkseattle.org to get started.

Part of Irish Network USA, our members can connect with other chapters in the United States and take advantage of our direct relationships in Ireland.

How do I check my membership status?

Membership status can be reviewed on the account page or any at the bottom of all newsletter emails sent after July 2026.

The Account Page

  1. Sign into your account on this website using the email address provided on signup.
  2. We have a password-less system and an email will be sent to your address on file with a one time verification code.
  3. If you do not receive an email with a code please try any alternate addresses you may have used to sign up, or use the email address you received our most recent communication to. If you still do not receive an email please contact us for assistance.
  4. Once signed in click the "Account" button at the top right on this page.
  5. Membership status will be displayed under "Your Account"

  1. Starting July 2026 member status is automatically added to the footer/bottom of all newsletter emails sent to both free and paid members. It looks like the following information:

How do I cancel or change my paid membership?

Paid memberships can be managed via the account page or the "Manage Membership" link at the bottom of newsletter emails.

To Cancel or Change Membership

  1. Sign into you account on this website. The Sign In button is at the top right of this page.
  2. Once signed in click the "Account" button at the top right of this page.
  3. Click "Manage Membership" which will take you to Stripe where you can cancel or change your membership status.
  4. If you cancel your paid membership you will retain access to all member perks until your renewal date. Once your renewal date passes you will convert to a free member. Free members still receive our newsletter. If you wish to unsubscribe from the newsletter you can do so at anytime.

Are my membership fees tax deductible?

Yes, all membership fees and contributions are tax deductible. Receipts available in your account page from Stripe, our payment processor. EIN: 92-0473923

What's the difference between a free and paid member?

A free membership simply gives you access to our email newsletter and WhatsApp group. Paid members receive perks, discounts, and invitations to member only events. If you signed up for our newsletter only, you are also considered a free member.

All memberships, free and paid, have an account on this site so they can manage their communication preferences, and for paid members their subscriptions.
